Ingredients :
2 cups - cooked | Basmati Rice |
1 | Lemon |
Few | Curry leaves |
1 tsp | Mustard seeds |
1 tsp | Urad dhal |
1 tsp | Channa dhal |
1/2 tsp | Turmeric powder |
2 | Green chillies |
few | Groundnuts and cashewnuts(optional) |
1 tbsp | Cooking oil |
- Take a pan and add tbsp of cooking oil.
- Add mustard seeds.
- As soon as the mustard seeds start spluttering, add Urad dhal and Channa dhal.
- As it turns golden brown, add green chillies, and curry leaves and saute for 1 minute.
- Take the squeezed lemon juice and add it with little water (3 or 4 tbsp).
- Now add turmeric and salt.
- Let it cook for 5 mins on medium heat till the raw smell goes.
- Switch off and mix this with rice.
