Ingredients:
1 cup | Pottu Kadalai/ Split roasted gram |
1 cup | Powdered sugar / Jaggery |
¼ cup | Ghee |
¼ tsp | Cardomom powder (optional) |
Few | cashews (Optional) |
Method:
- Roast Split roasted gram in a pan till light brown and let it cool.
- Grind Split roasted gram into fine powder and sieve it.
- Mix the powdered sugar, Split roasted gram powder and Cardomom powder.
- Fry the cashews with a tsp of ghee.
- Heat 2 tbsp of ghee and add little by little to the mixed powder and make them as balls immediately.
- Add one piece of cashew to each ball.
- Store it in a air tight container.
