Simple and Easy Egg-Fried Tofu

 

Ingredients: 

1 package firm / extra firm tofu

1 pinch sea salt to taste

1 egg, lightly beaten 

1 tsp black pepper powder

1 tbsp vegetable oil for frying

 

Directions:

Slice tofu into rectangular pieces. Sprinkle salt on both sides of tofu slices.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Dip tofu slices into bowl of beaten egg and shallow fry in hot oil until lightly browned, about 1 minutes per side.
