Simple and healthy Broccoli Stir-fry


 Ingredients: 


1 large bunch broccoli (about1 1/2 pounds)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil 
1 scallion, chopped 
2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped 
Pinch to 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 
Salt to taste


Directions:
 

  1. Trim the florets off the broccoli, and cut into 1- to 1 1/2-inch pieces.
  2. Heat a large wok over high heat.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of the vegetable oil, and swirl to coat the wok.
  4. Once the oil begins to smoke, add the broccoli florets and stems.
  5. Sprinkle salt, chopped garlic, red pepper flakes and scallion.
  6. Stir until aromatic or for 2 minutes until broccoli is cooked.

Simple and Easy Egg-Fried Tofu

 

Ingredients: 

1 package firm / extra firm tofu

1 pinch sea salt to taste

1 egg, lightly beaten 

1 tsp black pepper powder

1 tbsp vegetable oil for frying

 

Directions:

Slice tofu into rectangular pieces. Sprinkle salt on both sides of tofu slices.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Dip tofu slices into bowl of beaten egg and shallow fry in hot oil until lightly browned, about 1 minutes per side.
